Backyard Football...

With the return of warmer weather backyard football is again back in season at the Potts household as well... Chad and the boys can often be found tossing a football, running routes and scoring touchdowns and running around!Seth however, isn't always as interested in the football game because (in his own words) he needs to learn to run faster by swinging...

Easter Egg Hunt...

Another highlight of Spring Break was our Annual Easter Egg Hunt... (done a bit before Easter so that the Easter Egg Hunt doesn't overshadow the real reason for Easter!)
At the end of the day, we thought we had found almost all of them only to get home and realize that we missed almost 10!

Happy Birthday JJ! (Part 2)

I have always avoided the parties where we have a lot of kids over to our house and we have tried to keep Birthday celebrations to family and one friend... This year we let JJ have two friends over (they are brothers and how do you choose...)

JJ is now 7 years old... Hard for me to believe. There are birthdays that really hit home when it comes to realizing that the kids are growing up... First it was 3... then Zeke and now JJ turned 7!

We celebrated on the 10th with our usual trip to Chuck E. Cheese...

At the end of the day, we trade in our tickets and the three other boys pick out presents for the Birthday boy...

Derby Cars...

Over spring break we also took some time to just hang out. The boys wanted to create some race cars to play with, so we found some old scraps of wood and let them design away... Then we found some old trucks and took the wheels off for the finishing touches...

Spring Break Fun - Day 2!

Day 2 of our trip was a day at the Children's Museum of Indianapolis...

Spring Break Fun!

Over Chad's spring break we took an overnight trip with two other families from the seminary and went to the Caribbean Cove indoor Waterpark and the Children's Museum in Indianapolis.

Thursday night we hung out at the waterpark with the Gerdes and Ingall's families. The water park included the usual activities of riding around on the lazy river...Trips down the Waterslides...
Hanging out in the pools...Below is a picture of all the older boys (minus Colin...) Altogether there were 8 boys between 4 and 8, two toddlers, 1 infant and 6 parents....

Happy Birthday Grandpa!

I didn't get to spend the day with him, but figured reaching 90 years old deserved a post in our blog. Above you will see my Grandpa and Grandma Breeden celebrating his 90th Birthday. With him are my Aunt Yvonne and Uncle Chuck!
