Last spring we were at Camp Lutherhaven for their annual spring work weekend (and we can't wait to go again this year). While there Chad got started on helping build a new tree top village. The construction started last spring with putting the telephone poles in the ground and getting the platforms for the cabins ready. Over the summer, fall and now spring again we have spent many hours at camp helping to complete this project in time for summer camp this summer. The village is made up of two cabins about 8 ft off the ground. These are connected by walkways to a platform in the back (that will eventually be covered) for dining and hanging out. There is still work to be done but it has come a long way from telephone poles in the ground!
