One of our goals for the summer was to finally clean up the front of our house... There is still some work to do, but we did manage to get the flower beds in the front cleared fo weeds and planted a few nice looking plants.

We planted Foxgloves and Speedwells under the living room window...

Last fall we transplanted one of our rosebushes under the dining room window. We added a lilac plant and another rose bush to that this summer.

We also decided to give the shrub under our bedroom window some company... Maybe in a couple of years there will be a nice row of shrubs there.

Now we have the goal of not killing the plants and keeping the weeds out... A daunting task with my brown thumb...
