Half way to a 10K

6 months ago, a very wise man (ok... It was Chad) told me that running is a good way to lose weight... So I started running and at first, I didn't think I was going to make it. I could barely run 1 mile. Today, I ran 3 miles in 36:15 (not terribly fast, but I ran it all) and weigh 20 pounds less than I did in February! It is a good feeling!

We are planning on running a 10K in October!

20 pounds...wow!! I wouldn't have thought you had that much extra to lose. :) Keep up the great work!! I know who to look to if I need a motivating running partner this year...
