One of the things that our family has enjoyed over the past couple of years are mini-vacations at Indoor Waterparks. It started when Chad came home on his R&R leave from Iraq. We spent a couple of days at the Great Wolf Lodge. The kids love them and there is something for everyone.
Since we weren't taking a trip to Wisconsin for Thanksgiving we decided to see if we could find a deal for a couple of days. The Great Wolf Lodge in Sandusky, Ohio offered a great military discount and we packed the kids up for a couple of days of fun in the pool! We left on Monday morning. After the car trip, we stopped at one of our favorite family restaurants, "Ryan's". Then we went to the "Lincoln Log" waterpark as the boys like to call it. Over the three days we were there we spent several hours a day soaking ourselves on the slides and in the pools. We returned home on Wednesday evening after a fun and tiring couple of days!
