JJ recieved a book for his birthday called "Kid Conncoctions of Biblical Proportions". In it there are several projects for kids that teach a Biblical idea. JJ always enjoys these projects and keeps the book in school box. Today as we were finishing up the readng and math books, He pulled out the book and asked for a project. I flipped through and found one where I had most of the needed ingredients in the house. We made treasure fizzle stones.
We added a little to much water and had to wait a day for it to evaporate off so we could make the stones and then we left them to dry overnight. After they had dried we dropped them into vinegar and watched as the vinegar transformed the stones into tiny little treasures to display that God has made us new and the old has gone!

It's a little messy but fun. We did this project a few weeks ago for the letter F week-Fizzle stones. The boys loved it-looks like your did too!
