JJ turned 6 years old today. We celebrated in the usual Potts' family style.
Dinner was the choice of the Birthday Boy. We used to go to IHOP every once in a while for their funny face pancakes. It is a big pancake served with fruit and yogurt in a tube to decorate the pancake like a face. This was one of JJ's favorites, but it has gotten a little on the expensive side, so we now make it a treat for home! This was his choice for a Birthday dinner.

After dinner we have cake. JJ chose to have clown cupcakes again for his birthday this year. We also use this opportunity to light their baptism candles to remind them that they have been chosen by God through their baptisms.
Then of course there are also the presents! This year JJ recieved a big game book, some gears toys, a KNEX set, clothes, Thomas Trains and an I SPY game.
And an old favorite from Chad's childhood... The spanking tunnel...
Happy Birthday JJ!
