Tin Caps Reading Program...

Our Summer of fun began with a Tin Caps Baseball game. The Tin Caps have a reading program that they offer to schools... As a homeschool family we qualify as a school all by ourselves. 4 free student tickets and 1 free teacher ticket left us with a fun night out for only $8.00!

The fun began on Friday night when we ventured out in the rain to see if they would play or not. We waited and they played half an inning... Then we waited some more and they played another half of an inning... Then we waited some more and decided to head home hoping that they would call the game and we could try again another time... THEY DID!

So Saturday we went back... Because of the rained out game the night before we got to see the 7 1/2 remaining innings from that game and then they played another 7 innings of the regularly scheduled game for Saturday night. 5 hours later we were on our way home!
