Fabulous Fridays at the Fort Wayne Library...

One of the many joys of homeschooling is being able to set our own schedule. Part of our weekly schedule includes a trip to our fabulous library. Every Friday we set aside our books and head to the library to pick out some of theirs.

Our trip begins with a trip to the card catalog (now a days known as a computer)... Where we pick a topic and begin our search...

After some books are picked out and looked over, I take a few minutes to gather the books we will use at home during the week.

Then we head to the kids computer lab, where more than 20 computers are waiting just for the kids... (There is also a young adult and adult computer lab). The kids play and explore for a while.
After that we head upstairs to a media room that rivals most video rental stores and we pick out some movies for the weekend for FREE!

Maybe someday I will take pictures to show you the beauty of this place! It is a great place to hang out Fridays mornings in the Fort!
